Buy a Board, Build a Brain

When you “Buy a Board” you will contribute to exploratory play opportunities for up to 20,000 kids and families in Clark County this year.

Here’s a simple guide to get started:

  • Select the board you wish to purchase, just like you would in a traditional brick campaign.

  • Make your donation below.

  • Share an image, a brief description, your name for the list, or your logo by emailing Jeanne at Jeanne@columbiaplayproject.org.

That’s It! We’ll transfer your logo/image to a Board and add it to the collection. Each time we bring the Builder Boards to an event, everyone will see your name!

About the Builder Boards

DESIGNED FOR AGES 5+

Builder Boards are a set of wooden pieces designed to offer children an opportunity to design and build their dream house, take it apart and do it again. Each set includes over 60 pieces of high quality birch or maple boards and connectors to encourage hours of creative play. Builder Boards are time tested and kid-approved.

FAQ

  • If you live somewhere in Clark County, we will bring the builder boards directly to you at a mutually agreeable time. If you live outside of Clark County, but within 50 miles of Vancouver, we'll deliver to you for a $50 charge. If you're outside of that area, let's talk and figure out a plan. Call us at 360-798-8768.

  • We are confident that you will love our builder boards. If there is a problem, let's talk it over and make a plan.

  • We recommend Builder Boards for ages 5 and up! Children under 5 years old may need support both with lifting and with understanding how to arrange the board, however, they can certainly still find ways to play. Adult supervision is recommended as the boards can be heavy and unwieldly.
