Red Yarn
The January 25th show features music and comedy of RED YARN! The shows start at 10:30am & 1pm.
Red Yarn (aka Andy Furgeson) is a Texas-born, Oregon-based family performer who weaves folksongs and puppetry into high-energy shows for all ages. With his engaging performances, lush folk-rock recordings, and playful music videos, this red-bearded bard reinvigorates American folklore for younger generations.
With traditional and original songs that apply an indie aesthetic to folk, rockabilly, country and blues, Red Yarn’s sound is both rooted and modern. Whether performing solo, with his wife and singing partner Jessie, with collaborators, or with a full band, Red Yarn’s shows are a raucous, inclusive celebration of the multicultural musical heritage of the USA. As Red rambles through the landscapes of American folklore, from the Deep Woods to the Old Barn, he introduces his “critter” friends – lovable, handmade puppets – along the way. -

Ants Ants Ants
Join the musical stylings of ANTS ANTS ANTS on February 8th with two performances, at 10:30am and 1pm!
Portland, Oregon songwriters Johnny Clay (The Dimes), Dave Gulick and Nat Johnson (Derby) have formed a new and exciting collaboration called Ants Ants Ants, who invaded the national family music scene last year with their “smart, catchy kids' pop” album Why Why Why!
With stylistic nods to 1970’s era Sesame Street, School House Rock, and "The Point" by Harry Nilsson, Ants Ants Ants recalls the best elements of a fun and fanciful childhood – the thrill of knocking down a tower of blocks; the fun of imagining what your dog is thinking; a make believe world where nocturnal animals meet in the park at night to play games.
With their family friendly lyrics and optimistic instrumentation, this music offers an invitation into that golden childhood we dream of having ourselves and creating for the ones we love. -
